An exceptional Van Cleef & Arpels diamond brooch c.1950. The central cluster of seven round brilliant cut diamonds are encircled by a half outer curve of marquise diamonds. The central round brilliant cut diamond weighs 0.65ct whilst the surrounding diamonds are approx 0.50ct each. The marquise surround is comprised of eleven graduated stones, the largest weighing 0.50ct diamond and the smallest weighing approximately 0.22ct.
